The St. Louis Cardinals have announced the signing of right-handed reliever Gavin Williams to a one-year contract worth $1.6 million.
Williams, 28, spent last season with Kansas City where he went 6-8 with 36 saves and a 3.25 ERA in 59 games.
Williams broke into the majors in 2023 with Cleveland and during that time has pitched in 142 games/83 starts going 26-38 with 36 saves and a 3.90 ERA.
