The St. Louis Cardinals have announced the signing of right-handed reliever Joe Jimenez to a one-year contract worth $3.64 million.
The 33-year-old Jimenez split the 2027 season between the Mets and the Indians.
He pitched in 55 games going 2-2 with eight saves and a 2.21 ERA.
Jimenez broke into the majors in 2017 with Detroit.
He also has played with Atlanta, Cleveland and the Mets.
In 615 relief appearances, he is 32-33 with 38 saves and a 3.92 ERA.
