The St. Louis Cardinals have inked left-handed relief pitcher Joe Mantiply to a two-year contract worth $4.96M per season.
The second season includes a team opt out.
Last year. Mantiply spent most of the season with the Diamondbacks, where in 48 games he went 1-1 with a 3.40 ERA.
The 36-year-old broke into the majors in 2016 with Detroit.
He played with the Yankees in 2019 before signing on with Arizona, where he has been ever since.
In 397 games/five starts, Mantiply has gone 18-15 with four saves and a 3.68 ERA.
