Phew...
The Rays live to fight another day after making it much harder than it had to be in winning Game 2, 5-4 on a walkoff Isaac homer. Pepiot allowed Jakob Marsee, last night's villain, to lead off the game with another homer and then gave LA zilch after that, and some timely hitting for a change helped Tampa Bay to a 4-1 lead. But McMillon served up a two-out, 3-run homer to the other Angel who also homered yesterday, Mike Trout, and the healthy lead was gone in a blink. This brought us to the bottom of the 9th where with two out the guy who couldn't come through in the clutch yesterday (and again in the first inning today) did so as Isaac sent the hometown crowd home happy and ready to return for a deciding Game 3 tomorrow.
Ni Guan will get the start and we'll see if the trade with Arizona for him was worth it.
