Four members of the Vancouver Canadians have announced their retirement.
Andrew Bash was drafted by the Angels in 2019 but was released in 2020. He Hund around Independent Baseball until eh jays signed him out of the Pioneer League in 2021. He got as high as AAA.
Andrew Bechtold was drafted twice, by the Rangers in 2014 and again by the Twins in 2017, after college. The Jays signed him as a Free Agent it 2023 and he had set minor league success, but never got past AAA.
Max McDowell was drafted by the Brewers in 2015 and was later signed by the Yankees and then the Phillies, who traded him to the Jays in 2023. He peaked at AAA.
Gavin Collins was drafted by the Guardians in 2016 and later signed with the Rays, Cardinals, then the Jays earlier this year. He also got as high as AAA.
