Tampa sent me this proposal. I thought about it, a couple of times.

[1] I don't want to take on money for 1B. I feel like we have a good prospect at 1B that could develop into a solid power hitter.

[2] I don't want to give up that LHP prospect. StL has about 9 minor league prospects that are factors for the ML rotation in the next 1-3 years. I'm assuming half of them don't make it, and go RP. So, I don't want to cut bait with SP prospects, until the ML team's performance demands that I do.
