We ended up with the 8th pick in this very deep draft, so our wishes to get A-Rod or Todd Helton would not be fulfilled, but we did get a guy who I will have a hard time keeping out of our lineup this year, LF Darin Erstad. He's 20 and like too many of the players in the draft, are too advanced for their age, but it is what it is.
