Game Summary – May 17th – Athletics Victors, 7-4, at Kansas City

The game was highlighted by the performance of Oakland pitcher JP Sears. Earning his 14th save of the year was Mason Miller.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for J.D. Davis? The Oakland designated hitter had a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Athletics on top, 4-3. For the game, Davis had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
"I was able to change speeds effectively tonight," said Sears. Oakland has a record of 20-27, placing them last in the American League West Division.
I HATE losing to Oakland at home! Nothing good about this game, period. We sucked at home tonight!
