Game Summary – May 21st – Royals Win at Home, 6-2
Kansas City picked up a win at Kauffman Stadium, bumping off the Detroit Tigers, 6-2. Pitcher Brady Singer was a major reason the Royals emerged victorious. Kansas City is now 21-29, Detroit 21-27. Vinnie Pasquantino hit a run-scoring double off Jack Flaherty in the bottom of the third, which put the Royals in front, 3-2. In addition to the double, Pasquantino had 1 single, while going 2 for 4.
"My job is to go out and execute," said Singer.
Much better job tonight, all around by the guys. Brady pitched a surprisingly strong game, and the lineup was hitting at a 75% clip, which is noteworthy. Now let’s keep this sustained through the end of the month on the road.
