Apparently, winning the NL's Rookie of the Month award was not enough for Colorado rookie sensation Adael Amador, as the budding star also nabbed National League Batter of the Month honors. As previously noted, Amador went 39 for 98 (.398 batting average) with 11 Doubles, 3 Triples, 5 Homeruns, 24 Runs, 18 RBI, 15 Walks, and 2 Stolen Bases for a slashline of .398/.482/.724 that generated 2.2 WAR.
