Watched Watkins Glen last weekend. Was the first time in ages that I watched an entire race. Last race I watched even close to that amount of time was the first Chicago race, so what makes what I'm going to say probably not a surprise.
...SVG may singlehandedly get me back into NASCAR. This is coming from someone who went to the first race they had in Joliet, has been to Bristol. I'm not new to the sport by any means.
There have been plenty of drivers who were "ringers" that were competitive but ultimately couldnt hack it. Rarely did they even win. SVG having tied for most wins this season is crazy, and to have done it at 4 road courses is awesome too. If he eventually becomes just a regular Top 10 finisher at the other tracks, he could become a long term force
