Historic taken literally would be a replay league. There's not much to write about one of those.
The division is really between a what if league having historic players and a what if league with fictional players. Random debut belongs with the first.
Combining with Dynasties forum would be a bad idea. Many of the threads here are about teams that at times struggle to win, have the misfortune of losing players to injury, or the good fortune of TCR boosting an OK player into an all star for a year or two. Those sorts of things make a much better story than some dynasty winning the division ten consecutive years.
