I've tried using the "League Functions" specific year tools and no matter what I've done, players are only hitting 2-3 home runs a season and pitchers have odd stats, so on and so forth. It feels like they are playing at the website Fast Payout Casinos rather than training. Is there something I'm doing wrong? Wondering if anyone has accomplished this and knows what I could try.
Hey! That makes sense—what you’re running into is basically the era effect built into the game. Even if you tweak the “year” in the League Functions, the simulation is still using the underlying 19th-century player ratings and league context (like pitching distance, ball composition, and offense levels), so stats will naturally skew low compared to modern numbers.
