I have to agree here. With how scarce perfect-rated cards are, and how few we pull, I've somehow managed to pull 3 Tarik Skubals and 3 Tubby Scales out of the 15-20 or so perfects I've pulled from packs. I get that pack odds are "random" but yeah.
I've always appreciated that the card shop is free market, but some cards are perceptibly impossible to get. For instance, to finish the "Kid" mission for Junior, you gotta buy Max Clark + Travis Bazzana (250K for both) or Andrew Painter (300K). I can't believe they are still going for these crazy values. I get it that Griffey is still super competitive in HD, but he sells for 150K. Painter is maybe a low end HD player, and Clark and Bazzana are barely serviceable in LD. I have a hard time believing these cards are NOT rare at this point. Everyone competing in LD/HD/Perfect has Griffey. So the demand shouldn't really be as high anymore
Do I think there are things that can be done? Yes.
