Just over one week til opening KO.

Rashee Rice suspended the 1st 6 games of the season. Which means he will not be available til the KC plays Vegas Oct 19th. The Chiefs schedule is very "top-heavy". He'll miss the season opener vs the Chargers, the SB rematch vs Philly, plus the Lions & Ravens. I could very much see KC getting off to a slow start.

Panthers trade Adam Thielen to the Vikes for an exchange of better picks in the '26 & '27 draft. This isn't big news. But as a Panther watcher, I felt it would have been smart to keep either Thielen or Hunter Renfrow cause the WR's need a veteran leader. But they have sent both packing. Evidently in favor of youth & cost. In camp, WR was the deepest unit for Carolina. Of course, that was arguably vs their weakest unit, the defensive secondary. As of now, a shaky Bryce Young will go into battle w/3 rookies & 2 in their 2nd year among his wideouts.
