Cards news: April 19 -- Reliever Hence and Giants' Sawai both receive five gam suspensions
MLB has announced that St. Louis Cardinals relief pitcher Tink Hence and San Francisco outfielder Yasnobu Sawai will both be suspended for five games after a mound-charging incident in the Giants' 9-7 win over April 18.
Hence hit Sawai with a pitch after giving up a home run to Luis Marquez.
