In their defense. Jerry did say he offered him almost 200M in guaranteed money. So everyone was thinking 150-180M. Jerry has been honest about everything he has been saying so far. So far no one has been calling anyone a liar.
The Jones boys also said they don't try to circumvent the agent. They only talk to players that are willing. Jerry always pays his top talent. This is the one case he didn't. There's probably a good reason for that.
