At that point, if it is a list of prospects, I find the one with the lowest potential and throw him in. If they want one of my top players or prospects, then I have already offered up, and I walk away. You can't trade some middle reliever for Jaun Soto. You need to most likely overpay for him. Is it worth the price of doing business? That is up to you. Also, you can't usually trade 4 quarters for one dollar. IE 4 average players for one great one.
