A frustrating day for the Shires as they suffer another bullpen meltdown.

With Ohtani and Anthony on rest days, the Shires struggled to produce runs despite hammering out 11 H. StL left 5 runners on base over the 1st 2 innings, with 14 LOB for the game.

Aldegheri was solid over 6 innings, allowing just 2 R on a 2-run double by former Shire player Ronny Mauricio, who now leads the West in RBI with 35.

Ellwanger entered the game and allowed 6 R, 5 ER in just 0.1 IP. He allowed 5 4 consecutive hits following a leadoff walk, before rookie Keifer Lord threw 2.2 scoreless innings after allowing a inherited runner to score.

I can't figure out how this guy sucks. Even if he's dumb as a rock, his ratings suggest a much better performance that what he provides. Out of curiosity, I shopped him to see what type of haul he could bring, to get a good idea of how the game views him .... and he would return a top level prospect. Of course, once you trade him, he'll go on to become an All-Star, right?
