NHL Hurricanes owner to buy NBA Portland Trail Blazers for $4B. Don't know if I ever heard of an owner of 2 franchises on opposite ends of the coast. Interesting that Portland is not in the NHL & Raleigh isn't in the NBA. You have to wonder if that comes into play when arena leases, renovations or age comes into play.
