The last game of the road trip in San Francisco has us face top pitcher Carl Randle. Can King extend this streak to 55 and take it back to Florida with a chance to tie the record? 5-11 in his career off Randle makes it seem a little more than possible.

In the 1st and 2 outs, he bounced out to 3rd baseman Kevin Young to end the inning.
With the game scoreless in the 4th and Mike Bordick on 1st, King lined a shot down the line in right on an 0-2 pitch to score Bordick, give us a 1-0 lead and take his streak....
.....to 55 games!
Stop me if you've heard this before....we were up 3-1 in the 9th with 2 outs and gave up 3 runs to lose 4-3.
