Wanted: 1925 Dubuque Team Photo
I'm looking for a team photo of the 1925 Dubuque team, managed by Joe McGinnity to start the season. Included in the photo should be a pitcher identified as Blackburn, who was in fact Verne Blackbourn. Verne Blackbourn pitched one game for the White Sox in 1921; this game is currently incorrectly attributed to Charlie Blackburn. Blackbourn pitched for Dubuque in 1925 from the start of the season through mid-August.
I have located a photo of Verne Blackbourn from later in his life, when he was a farmer raising cows in Wisconsin.
