Game 1: 4-3 W (13). WP-Lee (1-1). S-Salazar (3). Starter-Najera (6.2 4 2 2 3 6). HR-Gurrola (18), Hardy (20). Rays had to win this one twice in extras, first scoring in the 11th before losing that lead and then finally in the 13th on Hardy's solo homer. After a couple of bad starts it was good to see Najera bounce back.
Game 2: 8-9 L. LP-Lennon (11-9, 4 5 6 6 5 2). HR-Pino (37), Lowe (3). Rays had early 3-0 and 4-1 leads with Lennon and his 2.45 ERA on the mound so it looked real good early but as you can see from his line he was terrible, couldn't hold it, and Tampa Bay had to settle for a split.
Team record: 78-56, still 2 up on Toronto. Next up: An off-day then we play 3 against a 53-81 Astros team in Houston.
