The inning and threat ended at 2nd base when Brace was caught stealing.
In the 3rd, Malcolm Moore singled and Marsee reached on an E3 on a likely inning ending DP ball to Brace. Nasim Nunez singled home Brace to make it a 1-run game.
In the top of the 9th, Hentges allowed runners on 1st and 3rd with a walk and a single, turning the ball over to Whitlock who induced a weak fly out to RF to end the inning. In the 9th, McLain hit a 1-out single and stole 2nd base. Barossa singled to put runners on the corners with just 1 out. Brace hit a SF to RF to tie the game and bring his RBI total to 6 in just 2 wildcard games.
In the bottom of the 10th, Nunez led off with a single and stole 2nd base, putting the winning run in scoring position for PH Tommy white, who singled, putting runners on the corners.
