Checked my Excel list and I watched 117 Mets games so far this season, which is five more than last year (only regular season).

After last night's disaster, the Mets have gone 57-60 in games I watched (last year: 59-53), meaning that even if they win out from here, that Billion Dollar Lineup will have gone sub-.500 for me.

Funny how my Raccoons are a game out in their division on a shriveled budget, three pitchers, and a 35-year-old first baseman having a career year, but all the dosh in Uncle Steve's wallet ... and ... (waves paws) ... here they are in the fishtank and drowning...!

Yes, the Raccoons are the only thing that brings me joy right now.
