My email was responded to an hour or 2 ago by some members of the committee and they said the same thing so as for the image, we're good with that and it has been removed.... but do we have anything to go on for as to where the Baseball Almanac guy got all the biographical information from? If so it may be helpful in finding more on Hickman, but if not I will remove that all too. Ernie Hickman pitched for Vincennes in 1883.I found a note about him being relieved by McCauley (Al?), and the article specified that McCauley was a left-handed pitcher. But no handedness was specified for Hickman. This would sugget he was right-handed, IMO. I did some digging on Hickman in connection with his time with the St. Louis Browns Reserve club in 1884, before his time in Kansas City. I found no other references to which hand he pitched with anywhere else.
