I am generally okay with the format of the MLB playoffs. The only aspect that bothers me is this wildcard round in which all three games are played in one stadium. That's a bit rough, in my opinion.

EDIT: The reason that I read is that they don't want the bye teams to be sitting around too long. Well, IMO they could sit one extra day, a travel day, and have the format be first game at the lower seed's stadium, travel, and two games at the higher seed's ballpark.
