If you're starting your league in 1981 another option would be to create your league with Use Real Lineups/Use real Transactions. Then once league is created, you could turn those options off. OOTP will load the 1981 as played schedule if you have real lineups selected.

Hi there, I hate to bring up an old thread but I am finally getting around to doing this and I can't find rhe "edit league settings" part in the top right. Am I missing something here?
