It was just last year that Montes was celebrating his 2nd world series victory in Montreal, including an AllStar appearance and 2 postseason series MVP awards. It looked like he was going to be a key part of the franchise, along with Julio Rodriguez and SS Carson Williams. Due to a dive in production, he was replaced with a younger, faster Eddys Leonard. Now, he finds himself traded to the Mile High Mammoths, to help with their push toward the playoffs.
