November 15 – The Loggers acquire SP Curt Green (35-34, 3.84 ERA) from the Scorpions for infielder Jose Ahumada (.241, 2 HR, 17 RBI) and a prospect.
November 15 – The Indians get 28-yr old SP Miguel Lopez (12-6, 3.61 ERA) from the Condors in exchange for INF Corey Vazquez (.232, 0 HR, 7 RBI) and a prospect.
November 19 – The Raccoons send 32-year-old OF Jaden Wilson (.285, 67 HR, 456 RBI) to the Knights for 27-year-old UT Carlos Fumero (.308, 22 HR, 374 RBI). Both players are former CL Rookies of the Year.

Some say that the Wilson trade was made to clear space for Tyler Wharton. But you should also see how Fumero is basically a younger version of a high-average bat with speed and defensive versatility, an almost perfect fit for the #2 hole, and, oh yeah, also a ****. Yes, I’m aware that the clubhouse already has a few of those. Actually, just gimme a second there…
Fumero will probably play second base most days, unless we fail to actually sign Wharton, and then he might just as well play center. Benito Otal would also be in the running for the centerfielder’s job. Fumero has the same $4.48M salary that Wilson has for 2069, but his contract runs two years longer.

November 22 – The Crusaders pick up SP Colt Long (6-11, 3.47 ERA) from the still-imploding Condors, who receive two prospects.
November 23 – Portland grabs 3B/SS/LF/RF J.P. Gallo (.249, 137 HR, 571 RBI), just shy of 30 years old, from the Scorpions in exchange for SP/MR George Kehoe (6-3, 3.31 ERA, 4 SV), MR Josh Carrington (9-10, 3.60 ERA, 6 SV), and #153 prospect INF Brian Hills (.283, 1 HR, 13 RBI).
November 24 – Cincinnati dances on Boston’s grave by snatching former Titans catcher Jorge Arviso (.264, 229 HR, 910 RBI) on a 2-year, $16.2M contract.

Gallo is an alright defensive third baseman and has a won a few Platinum Sticks in recent years for some impressive stickwork. His early years with the Knights ere not as good, depressing his career numbers now. The Coons infield was definitely getting speedier again, but without forsaking power: Gallo had bopped 22+ each of the last four years in Sacramento.
…but now we had to rework the bullpen with no money, of course. Gallo made $2.96M this year and had a player option for the same next year, but did I mention we made a bid on Tyler Wharton? No, you don’t wanna know…
