How the heck did Fitzgerald win the series MVP?

Oh yeah, Vancouver takes down Texas. The Vanguard are no stranger to the postseason, but Texas and MVP candidate Colt Emerson, looked to be a dominant offense.

I watched this series and started off with wanting Vancouver to win because the lineup of Texas is fearsome. But, Texas also has 2 LH SP and more coming out of the bullpen, and the lefties give me a big advantage regarding StL's lineup. But, as the series went on the team's appeared to be more balanced. Vancouver acquired Max Clark at the deadline and it paid off bigtime for them.
