Yes, but but requires a hack. Crack open the .odb file with Dr. Doom's tool. Remove the Opening Day .csv file (I am away from my files but it should be clear what file it is once in there, maybe "ODroster.csv" or something to that effect). Copy the EOSroster.csv file. Paste it so it is EOSroster (1).csv or whatever macs call dupe files). Then rename that End Of Season dupe .csv file to "ODroster.csv" (or whatever it is called) so you have told the game that THAT file is the Opening Day one. So you are just tricking it to read the file it is supposed to read but have swapped the stuff inside the file.
Reassemble the odb file and stats folder contents via Doom's tool. Call that modded stats folder /statsEOS
When starting a game in the wizard, like Step 2 or so, there is a chance to select an alternative folder for the game. Do that for this particular new save.
