My first idea for this was something that's been on my list since well before I had the skill to attempt it, Diego Rivera's
Quetzalcoatl mural in Acapulco. This one took a very long time to draw, and even when cutting out most of the mane, it is way to small to be seen in the game at 300x300, see below
So I converted the tentacles/hair/fire into comet tails for another thing on my list, a comet/asteroid themed team for Merida (a large city very close to the
dinosaur extinction impact crater). The real life Mexican League team there also plays in a stadium named for the
winged serpent.
I'm really happy with this one - it could easily be renamed/recolored for a different city if someone else wants a Comets team that looks like this.
