Copy the OOTP /stats folder & contents in its entirety on your desktop. Create a folder inside this /stats called /statsEOS. When choosing the odb, navigate to this one outside the game. When choosing where to extract it to in the Doom widget, navigate to the /statsEOS folder.
That's my approach to it anyway. It takes some getting used to, but this will let you get it right outside of the one being used by the game.
