The St. Louis Cardinals have announced the signing of veteran left-handed relief pitcher Josh Hader to a one-year contract worth $2.84 million.
The 36-year-old Hader, who broke into the majors with the Milwaukee Brewers in 2017, spent the 2030 season with the Boston Red Sox.
He got into 49 games going 2-1 with a 4.08 ERA.
In his career, Hader has pitched in 796 games and owns a 56-43 record with 217 saves and a 2.84 ERA.
