Cards news: Jan. 20 -- Veteran RHP Corbin Burnes agrees to one-year deal
The St. Louis Cardinals have signed right-handed pitcher Corbin Burnes to a one-year contract worth $13 million.
The 36-year-old Burnes spent the 2030 season with the Miami Marlins going 10-7 in 31 starts and a 3.42 ERA.
Burnes broke into the majors with Milwaukee in 2018 and played with the Brewers until 2023.
Since then, he has spent time with Baltimore, the Dodgers (two seasons), Cleveland, Kansas City, Arizona and the Marlins.
In his career, he has pitched in 381 games/320 starts and gone 114-96 with two saves and a 3.55 ERA.
