Edwin Diaz opts out of Mets deal

I will NEVER forgive Edlose for ruining 2019, the last REAL Mets season (no COVID-ball, no DH, no Manfred Mangling, the 50th anniversary of the Miracle Mets), by ****ting the bed again and again and again.

"Good riddance to bad rubbish", as the British say. (The Germans probably have a word for it that's 22 letters long and which you can't say in public, but you'd have to ask Westheim about that.)

(And yes, Pete Alonso also declared free agency, but I'm chill about that. The Polar Bear wanders, but he knows the way back to his den.)
