ALDS GAME THREE

TORONTO @ KANSAS CITY

Enoli Paredes (9-6, 3.88) vs Kenta Maeda (8-16, 3.80).

Top of the 1st

Bo Bichette led off with a single.
Whit Merrifield replaced him with a fielder's choice.
Then Vladimir Guerrero Jr. did the same.
He was left at 1st.

Bottom of the 1st

Nomar Mazara walked with two out, but that was all.

Top of the 2nd

Max Kepler singled with two out but was stranded.

Hunter Dozier led off with a double.
With two out, Adalberto Mondesi homered.
Paredes then hit Mazara with a pitch, who charged the mound! When the dust settled, Mazara was replaced by Jake Magnum and Paredes was replaced by Ryan Thompson.
He got the third out.

Royals lead 2-0

Top of the 4th

Guerrero Jr. led off with a double.
He went to 3rd on a Rafael Devers single.
With one out, Guerrero Jr. scored on an Austin Meadows sac fly.

Top of the 5th

Willy Adames led off with a single.
Bichette hit into a fielder's choice for the 2nd out.
He stole 2nd.
Merrifield walked.
Bichette scored on a Guerrero Jr. single, tying the game.
Devers reached on an infield hit, loading the bases.
The bases were left loaded.

Top of the 6th

With two out, Robert Gsellman received for Kansas City.
Adames met him with a solo homer.

Mondesi hit a game tying, rbi double.
