I'm trying not to scan images anymore either, but trace them manually, teaches me how to do it, and is not completely stealing or copying. Usually I draw over a photo of an animal, but today I thought to do Lisa Simpson's saxophone, see if I could recreate it for your logo, so here is
the image I found in a second on google on the right, the trace bitmap version on the bottom (the inkscape feature that automatically scans), and the one I drew on the left. It's obviously based on/ copied from it, but it is a little different, and more fun for me to make.
