There are a few openings and I've already made offers for an Asst. GM, an ABL Pitching Coach, an AA Pitching Coach, and a Manager. The rest will get one year to make it known they can do what I want and need.
Scouting director Elazar Jessel has 2 years left on his deal. He just got started this past season, so I'll have a look at his draft, but the organization has the top-rated farm system as of today.
Mr Sowell has given me a list of items he'd like to see progress towards.
The first “Don't Suck” I think we can manage. However, that doesn't mean we won't this year.
He wants better starting pitching (who doesn't) and for some reason he wants a left fielder currently better than what we have? He wants an increase in attendance and fan interest which I am unsure what that means. If the team wins both things improve right?
He'd also like the scouts to 'get better' with our international talent.
Lastly he told me his expectations are to be a playoff team within the next 5 years.
I think I can manage all that honestly.
