Two losses so far. Trying to change that today.

We wrap our set in St. Louis with the Cards sending up Sergio Iglesias.

The Giants have Charlie Vinson Jr.

Believe it or not, I am hitting 8th. WTH.

In the 2nd, Alvin Davis hit a solo home run.
I then came up with two out and flew out to Luis Gonzalez in left.

Giants lead 1-0

I took care of a Rafael Palmeiro grounder for the 1st out in the bottom half.
Then Gonzalez scored on a Kevin Stocker double.

Game tied 1-1

Ken Caminiti hit a solo blast in the 3rd.

Giants lead 2-1

The Cards took the lead back in the bottom of the inning when Wade Boggs and Andy Van Slyke scored on a Palmeiro double.

Cardinals lead 3-2

I caught a Jose Valentin floater for the 1st out in the bottom of the 4th.

I led off the 5th by flying out to Bernie Williams in centre.

We tied it back up in the 6th when Manny Ramirez scored on an Otis Nixon double.

Game tied 3-3

In the bottom half, Gonzalez scored on a Williams single.
Then Stocker and pinch hitter David Rivera scored on a Boggs single.

Cardinals lead 6-3

Matt pinch hit for me.

WHAT THE ABSOLUTE HELL!

I am fuming.

The score ended the same and we are 0-3.

We are headed to Pittsburgh and Matt and I may have a chat on the plane.
