Lugo, Restituyo Shine as 2024 Eastern League Platinum Stick Award Winners Announced

The Eastern League revealed its 2024 Platinum Stick Award recipients today, honoring a full slate of hitters whose offensive production stood out across the league. The awards, given annually to the top offensive performer at each position, highlighted a mix of seasoned prospects and fast-rising breakout stars who consistently powered their clubs throughout the year.

Behind the plate, Erie’s Josh Crouch earned recognition after hitting for a .303 average and .501 slugging percentage reflected by his 15 home runs and 121 wRC+. At first base, Altoona’s Joe Perez provided the Curve with a reliable middle-of-the-order force with his 26 home runs, .376 on-base percentage, and .516 slugging.
