2002
The LA Storm are back, sort of. After a few really bad seasons they took home another Frank Robinson going 102-60 only to meet their division rival Phoenix in the Division series. The Roadrunners walked them off in game 7 and eventually reached their 1st world series where they were beaten by Philadelphia 4-3. It was the Patriots 1st world series after 2 prior trips.
Dallas LF Jorge Madrid hit .316 with 36 HR's 115 RBI's and scored 124 runs to win his 1st Hank Aaron award.
Philadelphia ace Peter Guard went 17-6 2.52 to win the Koufax while Denvers Ryan Carrasco won his 2nd Rivera with 35 Saves and a 1.73 ERA.
Brooklyn rookie Adam Sikkema hit 22 HR's en route to winning the Jackie Robinson.
San Francisco catcher Jeff Gruen hit 43 HR's and scored 107 times to win the NL MVP
LA's Alex Torres went 14-4 2.82 to win the Koufax, I think this was LA's 6th.
Oklahoma City LF Erik Murphy hit .336/.399/.528 to win the NL Jackie Robinson award.
NL Champion Phoenix closer Dallas Nafus saved 36 with a 2.45 ERA to win the Rivera.
