Utah squeaks in as an AL Wild Card then meets Austin, the other AL wild card, in the ALCS. After beating them 4-1 they take San Diego in 6 games for their 1st ever title. San Diego has not been back since they won the inaugural world series in 1991.
Phoenix won 103 games but was beaten in the Division series by division foe San Diego 4-3.
In the NL Roadrunner 2B Mel Ramirez scored 124 runes, drove in 102 with 34 HR's and 26 SB's to win the 2005 Hank Aaron Award. Ramirez's teammate OF Jim Saunders hit .310/.370/.514 to win the Jackie Robinson.
San Diego's Sean Terry was 19-8 3.11 in winning the Koufax while Jacksonville reliever Michael Hennigar went 4-2 1.41 to win the Rivera.

SEASON HIGHLIGHTS
25 year old Lee Hendon fanned 15, becoming just the 2nd player ever to fan 15 or more in a game.
Mathew Rhorer (SI) hit his 400th HR.
Detroits Rafael Rodela won his 200th game and struck out his 3000th hitter in consecutive August starts.
Boston's Jessie Cook became the 1st hitter in IBL history to drive in 1500 runs.
