2006
In 2006 the IBL would see the Cleveland Gladiators join the AL East while the Charlotte Defenders joined the AL Central giving the league 2 5 team divisions and 1 6 team.
New Yorks 103 wins pace the IBL and they then get hammered 4-1 in the Division series by division rival New England.
As the Wild Card the Revolution get to, and win, their 1st world series with a 4-2 win over Columbus.
In the NL New Yorks Kevin Terry hit .341/.429/.572 with 24 HR 32 SB 124 R and 111 RBI's to win the Hank Aaron Award.
Teammate Blake Bihm was 4-3 2.62 over 92 IP to win the Rivera.
Fresno southpaw Rusty Lovelady went 15-6 3.24 to win his 1st Koufax and New England rookie Will Martin hit .287 with 17 HR and 24 SB to win the Jackie Robinson.
In the AL Austin's J.P. Rogers hit 49 HR and drove in 126 to win the Hank Aaron
Columbus ace Lee Hendon went 19-11 2.89 to win his 1st Koufax.
San Jose rookie Andrew Jacobi hit .293 with 24 HR 21 SB and drove in 112 to win the AL's best rookie award while Detroit Closer Dallas Nafus saved 46 with a microscopic 1.30 ERA to take home the Rivera.

SEASON HIGHLIGHTS
San Francisco's John Simmons fanned 15 in an August 2nd game to make him just the 3rd pitcher in IBL history to fan 15 or more.
Daniel Scott (CHI), Josh Darden (LA) and Jin-ho Na (ATL) tossed no-hitters. It was the most in a single season. Darden fanned 2 and walked 6 in no-hitting El Paso, who Na no-hit less than a month later.
RF Brian Dobbs of Houston hit exactly 50 HR's to become just the 8th player all time
Brooklyn's Mark Whitten was the lone 20 game winner, going 20-5 3.14
New Yorks Adam Brolin became the first pitcher to save 400 games.
Staten Islands Ferdynand Kmiecik slammed HR #500
LA's Mario Vicario hit in 29 straight, the 2nd longest streak ever. Still just one 30 game hitting streak in IBL history.
