Europe, Africa & Asia All-Stars at The Americas & Oceania All-Stars – All-Star Game Recap
Game — All-Star Game
Tuesday, July 13th, 2060
The Americas & Oceania All-Stars claimed the 2060 midsummer showcase, defeating the Europe, Africa & Asia All-Stars 7–4 in front of a lively crowd at Arcadome. While the All-Star Game is often a relaxed celebration, both squads delivered plenty of intensity — especially MVP D. Ortiz, who stamped his authority all over the contest.
Ortiz went 3-for-3 with a home run and 3 RBI, driving in runs in the 3rd, 5th, and 8th innings. His 2-run blast off V. Lavkov in the third swung momentum permanently toward the TAO side. H. Haare added three hits in support, and J. Miller reached base multiple times to keep the lineup rolling.
The EAA team produced early sparks — A. Hafidh homered in the 1st, and M. Malot added another in the 5th — but couldn’t keep pace. Despite outhitting their opponents 9–11, they left eight runners stranded, and several promising innings fizzled out.
Pitching on both sides was typically brief with constant substitutions. P. Layar impressed for the EAA with a clean inning, while A. Lushni worked two innings for TAO. No Sheffield Mountain Hares featured in the 2060 selections.
Player of the Game: D. Ortiz
