SBL is looking for some fresh blood after a couple of recent retirements. We’re currently in the 2076 offseason and have GM openings in:

Baltimore
Tampa Bay

We’ve been running since league (and actual) year 2013 and are currently running OOTP 26. League rules adhere pretty closely to the current MLB ruleset, with a few exceptions to handle situations that the game is bad at (around contracting, for example). We also use a running 5-year win average to determine divisional structure, so that teams are placed with other teams on similar trajectories and to ensure everyone always has a chance to be competitive within their division.

Regular season sims are 1 week of in-game time on a 2 days on/1 off schedule. During the offseason, we try to sim every day to keep things moving. We’re just about to take a little christmas break, so now is a great time to join and get acquainted with your team before sims pick up again after Christmas.

The league is active and talkative, with a welcoming Slack instance for general chatter and trading.
