Antonin i'm sorry to hear that you are REALLY missing out. You mention costs that varies with what you get. For ME I have paid subs for the following Disney+, Hulu, HBO Max all in one bundle 21.79 tax inc. Fox One And ESPN bundle (43.59 reduced rate first year) Apple TV 13.90 that is it for PAID (79.28 tax included) Cable itself 64.99 1gb 3yr gradulally increasing plan will reduce speed when it tops out at 3rd year. so that total is $144.27 PERIOD! (taking a very LONG look at DAZN again this untilamte price with the free PPV's is very cost effective and dunno how dazn can pull this off). so that will probably be an additional 39.99 plus tax ill say about 43.99 ish so total total of 188.28 range????
Now take cable (using spectrum cause well) I know comcast/xfinity had a plan to add netflix and peacock but oh well) I just chatted with Spectrum on this for the cable tv PLUS the apps in question (which happens to be all the above, plus surprise PEACOCK) sans apple tv and dazn that cost is $184,99 no tax. Which means that apple tv and Dazn wil lbe added ot that costs and the others are now merged in with the tv. One i did not mention is Paramount but I get that with my wally world delivery option.
so the argument about the higher cable is actually a moot point BUT with roku there are severa FREE apps i use (Pluto TV, Roku TV, Tubi, NHK World Japan etc...all of those are totally FREE
