Chicago announced the signing of 3.5 star prospect Mario Correa, a 17 year old out of the Domincan Republic and 17 year old Venezuelan 3B and 4.5 star prospect Cruz Mendiola. Details of both signings were not released.

Correa signed for 190K, Mendiola received 325K. That 515 leaves 235K for any other potential amateurs. Mendiola is a switch hitter with potential 17 Contact, 15 power, and 18 ability to put the ball in play. Huge potential.
Correa projects to have an elite sinker that could be mid-90s when all is said and done. Two more big time prospects for the system.
