Minor League Update
We have the #3 farm system in the UBL headlined by the leagues #1 prospect in SS Francisco Rubio. Our other top 100 prospects are #29 1B Raffale Martinella, #55 CF Alfredo Urbina, #56 RHP Marco Gudino, #65 2B Jorge Alcala, #68 LF Chase Bolin, and #96 CF Omar Garcia. The future is bright!
I like to have a hands-on approach when it comes to our farm system and those that show real future potential. I’ve created 2 shortlists: one for our top prospects and one for our mid prospects. I’ll check these lists at the start of each month leading up to the all star break, and once more after the trade deadline and will make adjustments accordingly. I like to see prospects over succeed at each level as I find it helps with their development (one of the things I learned as an analyst!). However, I’m a lot quicker to promote players on our top prospects list should they show appropriate development.
My lists must've gotten lost somewhere in my office, I can't seem to find any screenshots of them. I'll have to set a reminder in June to send them over before the draft...
